We are delighted to announce the recent appointment of Gina Jasper as a Board Member for TEAM Food Pantry. TEAM (The Emergency Assistance Ministry), is dedicated to serving residents in the Hazelwood and Florissant communities by offering supplemental food and essential household items.
"Gina is very generous with her time, actively serving where and when she is able. I am proud of the passion and dedication to community Gina demonstrates, and I know she will serve TEAM well in her new board position, " commented Tamekia Juszczyk, Vice President of Retail Banking at CNB St. Louis Bank.
Gina has been an integral part of our Florissant banking team for over 20 years and is a resident of the Florissant area. With a rich history of volunteering for various organizations, she notably became the first female member of the Florissant Chapter of the Jaycees. Currently a Life Member of the Jaycees, Gina continues her service on their scholarship committee as Treasurer. When approached to join the TEAM board of directors in September 2023, she readily accepted the opportunity. Reflecting on her commitment to TEAM, Gina remarked, "Doing things for your community is the best way to live."
About TEAM: Established in 1986, TEAM (The Emergency Assistance Ministry) of Florissant/Hazelwood is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit charitable organization run entirely by volunteers. Funding is sourced from churches, church groups, businesses, individuals, and community and fraternal organizations. Through this collective support, TEAM provides food and non-food items to families in need in the Florissant and Hazelwood areas. TEAM proudly serves 800 families each week, with over 90 dedicated volunteers and support from 36 church congregations. TEAM is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to noon.
